In this course, you learn to spot where AI adds value, build automations and AI agents, and bring them into everyday work safely. So you can lead AI projects, not just build them.

What to expect

A hands-on, project-based course: in three months, you go from spotting AI opportunities to building a working prototype of an AI-enabled workflow.

You learn the way companies work with AI today, with Claude, automation platforms and agentic coding tools. No coding degree needed: Module 1 builds the technical basics step by step.

Duration: 3 months full-time, 3 modules

Format: 100% online, live mornings and project afternoons

Weekly rhythm: daily check-ins, project clinics, office hours and a joint workshop every Friday

Language: English

Tools: Claude, Zapier, Make or n8n, agentic coding tools, GitHub

Final result: A working prototype that demonstrates how an AI-enabled process could operate in practice, plus an implementation and operating plan for your portfolio

Measure business impact and present your recommendations

Hands-on projects

Every module ends with its own hands-on project, all set in the same fictional business. Each project stands on its own, so every module gives you hands-on work for your portfolio.

Automate a first process

Turn a manual, repetitive task into a working automation.

Module 2 project

Build an AI agent

Create an AI agent that analyzes information and prepares results for human review.

Module 3 | Capstone

Build a complete workflow

Your biggest project: design and build an end-to-end workflow with automations and AI agents, including approvals, quality checks and monitoring. The result is a working prototype that demonstrates how an AI-enabled process could operate in practice.

Design Trainer

Pete leads UX Design at Proxify, where he runs AI education across R&D and builds workshops for cross-functional teams. As a long-time design mentor at CareerFoundry and guest speaker on Responsible AI, he shows participants how AI actually changes the day-to-day work of designers.

Hannah Baker

Trainer

Hannah is Co-Founder of The Fountain Institute, where she has designed and led cohort-based courses for 1000+ senior designers on research, strategy, and facilitation. With a Master’s in Art & Museum Education and a background building global designer communities, she brings deep expertise in how designers actually learn.

FAQs

Is this really free?

Are you registered at Agentur für Arbeit? Then the training will be covered for you. Just get in touch and we can help you requesting the voucher. It’s easier than you think ✨

What happens when one cohort is full?

That can happen quickly, as working in small groups is part of the learning experience. You’d have to wait for the next cohort to begin, just get in touch.

I am English speaking, can I join?

Yes! The course is open for english speakers. All materials will be available in english.

Do I need a technical background?

No coding background is needed. Module 1 introduces technical foundations step by step, with additional support for beginners and optional challenges for more experienced learners. Later modules build on these skills while providing guidance for students with different technical backgrounds.

Do I need experience with AI tools?

Some hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude is expected. You don’t need to be an expert or know how to code: the course builds on what you already know and takes you step by step to no-code automations and AI agents.

Will this course be outdated in six months?

The course is built around skills that last: analyzing processes, building and testing AI solutions, governance and measuring impact. The tools we use are current examples, the methods stay relevant even as the tools change.
